When you sign in with Google (through our authentication provider Zitadel), we request access to the following information from your Google account:
We access your email address to create and identify your Melometric account. This is used solely for account authentication and to contact you about your account if necessary.
We access your name and profile picture to personalize your experience within Melometric. This information is displayed in your profile and helps friends recognize you when using social features.
We receive a unique identifier from Google to securely link your Google account to your Melometric account. This identifier is used only for authentication purposes.
The Google user data we access is used exclusively for the following purposes:
Your Google email and identifier are used to create your Melometric account and authenticate you when you sign in. This enables secure, password-free access to your account.
Your name and profile picture are displayed in your Melometric profile and visible to you and your friends (if you choose to add friends). This helps create a personalized experience.
Your email address may be used to send you important account notifications, such as security alerts or changes to our terms of service. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
